Reims Wine Festival

Once again the wonderful annual Wine Festival has arrived in Reims, and we didn’t miss this chance to go take a look and meet some new people.  Every year, this wine festival gets bigger and bigger with more and more exhibitors and wine enthusiasts.  And it’s not surprising when you see the range on offer and the incredible prices. Over 300 winemakers from all over France gather in Reims on the second weekend of November to offer their latest wines and network with potential partners and customers.

Spending the whole day here is not out of the question, but you’d have to “spit” instead of “swallow” if you wanted to remain standing!  With foie-gras sandwiches and oysters and chips, finishing off with hand-make chocolates and matured cheeses, it’s a gastronomic delight for foodies and wine lovers alike.

However, the wine festival is just ONE of the delights on the agenda for our “Exclusive Weekend in Champagne” this November, that we’re putting together, where we’ll be hosting a very small group of people, and if you want to get more information on this, then CLICK HERE to read all about it and book your place

See you soon in Champagne

Fête de la Musique in Reims

Yesterday was the Summer Solstice, Midsummer’s Day and the Fête de la Musique in Reims. The start of the season of music concerts all around the city until the 21st July.

The atmosphere was vibrant and alive, and people everywhere were eating, drinking, dancing and having fun.  Here’s a video…. enjoy!

Want to come join us for the party in the park? It’s like Glastonbury but a million times smaller (and without the mud, hopefully!) We’ll be packing our picnic of delicious cold meats, cheeses and delicacies prepared by our local chef, Christophe, speciality breads from our village boulangerie and not forgetting some wonderful champagne from our neighbour, Christophe Corbeaux.

“The music festival in and around Reims in July just epitomises summer in Champagne, and is fantastic, thank you for your insider knowledge on the best concerts to attend”

CLICK HERE to book your room and we’ll see you soon!
